FEELING STIFF AND SORE?
The ageing process can take toll on everyone, no matter how healthy a life you lead. Joint pain is somewhat synonymous with getting older – whether it’s occasional aches and twinges or more severe osteoarthritis. This pain is the result of cartilage in the joints wearing down – causing all kinds of painful friction and difficulty with mobility – whether it’s finger pain making typing difficult, or stiff knees causing problems when it comes to walking.
 
While there’s no way of completely preventing joint pain, you don’t have to sit down and take it! If you know that arthritis runs in your family, it’s worth taking preventative measures to avoid your joints slowing you down too much as you get older.

There are all sorts of steps that you can take toward healthier joints – and prevention is always better than hoping for a cure. Keeping up with gentle exercise to ensure ongoing mobility is a big part of keeping your joints in check, but it’s also worth taking stock of what you’re putting into your body.
