Radiance® Activated Charcoal is one of the finest natural adsorbent agents known. Each particle contains many small chambers and cavities that bind-up unwanted material or gas, which can then be excreted in faeces.Activated charcoal has honeycomb like characteristics which give it a very large surface area and makes it highly adsorptive. This term means that when taken internally the product draws gases, chemicals and toxins present in the gastrointestinal tract to its surface area and then binds them. Once attached, the offending substances are carried away by the charcoal, which is NOT absorbed into the blood stream, to be excreted with faecal matter. Activated charcoal also supports the health and vitality of the skin as capsules can be opened and charcoal applied topically to help neutralise stings, bites and wounds.  

Each capsule provides: Pure virgin, activated charcoal 280mg.

100% vegetarian. Cellulose capsule. No gluten, dairy, artificial preservatives, flavouring or colours. 

Adults: Take 2 Capsules as needed, after food for gas and gastrointestinal discomfort. Repeat after two hours if discomfort persists.

Not to be taken continuously or long-term. Do not take concomitantly with medications (including the contraceptive pill) or nutritional supplements as activated charcoal can reduce their absorption. Activated charcoal should not be given to people with an obstruction of the intestines or if the person has swallowed a corrosive agent, such as a strong acid or alkali.
